Emma Christmas is a Clinical Therapist providing supervised psychological services to children, adolescents, and adults. She is currently completing her Master of Psychology degree at Adler Graduate Professional School. Emma brings extensive experience in psychological and psychoeducational assessment, having worked with children, adolescents, and adults across a variety of clinical, educational, and community settings. She has a particular interest in supporting children and youth experiencing anxiety, emotional and behavioural difficulties, learning challenges, and developmental concerns, while also working with adults experiencing a range of mental health and life challenges.
Emma approaches therapy with warmth, curiosity, and compassion. She believes that meaningful therapeutic work begins with creating a space where clients feel safe, respected, and genuinely understood. She takes the time to understand each client's unique experiences, strengths, relationships, and goals, and works collaboratively with clients to develop practical strategies that support meaningful change and greater self-awareness.
Emma's therapeutic approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), while also incorporating other evidence-based strategies tailored to each client's developmental needs, experiences, and goals. Her background in psychological assessment provides a strong foundation for understanding the different factors that may contribute to an individual's difficulties.
